This is a super cool vintage Gibson EB-3 that plays and sounds great! The short 30" scale length feels very comfortable to play and the pickups provide a very warm and full tone that is complimented by a set of flat wound strings.  

This bass does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional small dings on the headstock. The finish on the back of the headstock also shows some light checking from over time and some finish cracks at the neck heel. The hardware also shows normal tarnishing from over time. The frets are in nice shape for their age but the action is measuring a bit higher on the low E side even with the bridge posts adjusted very low. The circular plastic covering around the low E bridge post is also lifted from over time. All of the electronics work as they should and this bass has been set up with D'Addario ECB81 .045-.100 short scale flat wound strings. 

This bass is all original.
